Farewell 2024
Renewing your prayer goals in the new year
Salaam Minara Family,
Wowsers… feeling funny about this one. How about you? 😳
All new phases of life deserve reflection. Clean slate and all that!
Here, we want to take a pro-actively positive approach to our reflection focusing of course on our prayer practice this year.
Let’s centre our reflections on the following question:
How has salaah transformed your life this year?
One of our lovely Minara team shared this:
It’s the little things I’ve noticed. My income has felt so much more accommodating. My times seems to oblige too. Sometimes, a door has opened - one that I didn’t even know existed. If I had to choose one word, I’d choose ‘ease’. Actually… make that two. Ease - and alhamdulillah
❣️
We are confident that so many of you can relate in sha Allah. May this feeling and more continue to find us all in 2025. Ameen 🤲🏽
How has salaah transformed your life this year?
Use your reflections to this question like a vision board to inspire you my friends. Seeking goodness brings more goodness, a kind of manifestation except we know Allah is the one who produces and provides.
Seek all the goodness that you wish from your prayer practice, write them down, shout them from the roof-tops [ok maybe don’t do that] and of course keep raising your hands after your salah and asking Ar-Razzaq, our Magnificent Provider.

manifesting all the blessings
Using Salah for Manifestation
Have you ever heard of the paradigm?
It's basically the idea that our habitual thoughts make up our belief system which is ingrained in the subconscious mind.
Of course, our subconscious dictates everything we do, experience and attract.
How can we influence our subconscious to serve us according to our needs and wants?
Well, salah is one way!
When we are in a state of prayer, our conscious brain becomes still. It quietens. And when that happens, the subconscious can be compelled.
So when we pray salah, we can compel and influence our subconscious to get in line!
This is of course only by the Permission of Allah. All we need is some of the key ingredients: trust that Allah will make it happen, hope in the outcome, and of course - your salaah.
Keep at your salah: praying, improving, performing and watch the doors of success open for you.
Ayah of the Week

Gratitude yields gratuitous circumstances. Walking towards Allah? Watch Him run [metaphorically speaking of course!] to you.
The power of thoughts and this concept of internalization to visualization is an incredible part of Islam.
Think about the hadith 'Actions are but by intention...' [Source: Bukhari and Muslim]. Isn't niyyah [intention] the start line for the runner running to conquer his/her vision board?
What about 'I am as My servant thinks of Me." [Source: Bukhari and Muslim]? This is a mindset matters kind of moment: believe you are worthy of good and forget not Allah's Power. No task is difficult for Him.
Of course, we can’t not mention the power of supplication in Islam. Doesn’t Allah ask us to make du'a because He wishes to give to His yearning believer? He needs not a thing from us, yet He loves that we call on Him so that we may be blessed beyond belief.
Manifestation, visualisation. vision boarding - all of it is the bow on the gift we’re calling Islamic philosophy.

For 2025, let’s embrace it wholly in the art of perfecting our prayer practice.
Goal!
Friends, set your salah goals because...
salah is absolutely everything in our fragile, mortal lives.
Dreaming of your own business? Financial freedom? A bigger home? A better job? A healthier mind? A stronger body? Winning grades?
Whatever it is, dream big, pray harder.
May Allah accept from us all. Ameen ❣️
