Salaam Friends,

Before you read on: this Ramadan, weโ€™re inviting our community to support Minara in a new way, and as a thank you, weโ€™ve created a limited reflection gift rooted in prayer (read on to learn more ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ).

Ramadan has a way of softening time and, most notably, softening us. It opens our hands, steadies our hearts, and reminds us that giving is not just transactional, but deeply spiritual.ย

This Ramadan, we wanted to create a way for giving to feel intentional, consistent, and rooted in prayer.

Thatโ€™s why today, weโ€™re sharing this with you first.

This Ramadan, Minara will be joining LaunchGoodโ€™s 30-Day (RC30) Challenge -ย a way to give a small amount of charity every day of the month, starting from $2 a day.

Itโ€™s gentle. Sustainable.
And rooted in the belief that consistency matters more than scale.

A special thank-you from Minara ๐Ÿค

To thank those who choose to support Minara through RC30, we created something special.

The Prayer Room is a 176-card reflection deck designed to deepen your relationship with Salah through prompts, reflections, and questions that help you slow down and engage with prayer more consciously.

It can be used:

  • ๐ŸŒ™ before and after Salah

  • ๐ŸŒ™ any time during the day

  • ๐ŸŒ™ alone or as a fun, family and friends activityย

  • ๐ŸŒ™ as quiet reflection or thoughtful conversation

The Prayer Room by Minara

Itโ€™s not for sale.

But it is our way of saying thank you.

The first supporters who sign up to donate $2 a day throughout Ramadan via Minaraโ€™s LaunchGood RC30 link will receive a free Prayer Room deck, shipped during Ramadan (UK, US, Canada & Europe). Link below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ.

When charity becomes part of our daily rhythm, it mirrors the way Ramadan reshapes our days: night after night, prayer after prayer, small acts that quietly transform us.

For us, this campaign is about more than fundraising.

What Minara Means to Us

Minara was born from a very personal place.ย

So naturally, we must begin from that personal place - AKA Minaraโ€™s beginnings.ย

Just a heads up: weโ€™ve shared parts of this story on our socials before (@myminara), but it felt important to share it again here, slowly, in full, and with our newsletter community.

Minara began quietly: with a Muslim woman, a vision, tawakkul, and a love for salah.

What started as a simple thought became conversations with her parents, long moments of duโ€˜a, and the intention to serve more than just herself. In many ways, Minara was born in the spirit of Ramadan itself: giving, trusting Allah, and building something meant to benefit others

And despite the doubt, Lamyaa took the leap.

Then, Minara was born.

Of course by the Grace of Allah, what you see today is the evolution of Minara since its inception.ย

Today, Minara relies on community, on people who care deeply about prayer, who believe salah can be more than routine, and who want to build something meaningful together. None of this can exist without collective generosity, shared intention, and trust.

As Minaraโ€™s writer, I find it deeply moving to witness how something that lives as fragments in so many of our minds โ€” How can I be better at prayer? What does salah mean to me? How can I be more present, more consistent, more connected? โ€” has been gathered and shaped into something real.

Minara may not look like a traditional charity. But at its heart, it is an act of service.

It is about helping people strengthen their relationship with Allah. About learning to love prayer, not out of fear or obligation, but through understanding, meaning, and connection. About recognising the quiet, transformative power salah has in our everyday lives.

Supporting Minara this Ramadan means supporting that journey, both for yourself and for others.

๐ŸงฑWhat Your $2 is Actually Building

We want to be clear about what your support makes possible.

This Ramadan contribution through LaunchGoodโ€™s RC30 isnโ€™t abstract; it directly helps Minara grow.

Through LaunchGoodโ€™s RC30, your $2 a day goes to different worthy causes throughout Ramadan. In parallel, LaunchGood also supports Minara as part of the campaigns it uplifts.

That support helps Minara move closer to bringing its physical product to life, something that has been carefully developed, refined, and prayed over, and is now close to becoming real..

This campaign helps fund:

  • ๐Ÿ’œ transition from prototype to manufacturing

  • ๐Ÿ’œ manufacturing and production costs

  • ๐Ÿ’œ the infrastructure needed to deliver a thoughtful, high-quality prayer experience

Small, consistent contributions truly do add up.

By supporting Minara through this campaign, youโ€™re not just donating.

Youโ€™re helping build something that serves prayer itself: something designed to help Muslims show up to salah with more presence, intention, and care.

And that kind of support is an act of sadaqah too.

A service of worship if you will!

Charity asks us to shift how we see giving altogether.

Itโ€™s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that when we give sadaqah, weโ€™re doing someone else a favour, that someone needs us. But in reality, when we feel moved to give, or even when we give despite resistance or hesitation, that is a mercy upon us.

Because it is Allah who rewards the act.

Even when, on the surface, charity appears to benefit the one receiving, it is often far more transformative for the one giving. It softens the heart. It purifies intention. It draws us closer to Allah in ways we may not immediately see.

So if you choose to support Minara this Ramadan, please know that this isnโ€™t just about helping something grow. Itโ€™s an invitation to be part of a quiet exchange of reward, trust, and barakah.

What looks like help on the surface can be a deep mercy for the heart.

๐ŸŽ Why The Prayer Room (a gift, not a product)

We wanted to be part of this cycle of giving in a way that stayed true to Minaraโ€™s mission: helping Muslims build a deeper connection to salah and make it a beautiful part of their day.

Thatโ€™s how The Prayer Room came to be.

Every card has been thoughtfully written with the intention to spark conversations about prayer that probably none of us ever did. Itโ€™s a way to share stories, perspectives, and memories, that will not only make your Ramadan nights deep and fun, but also perhaps, bring you closer to your prayers and to your Lord.

Weโ€™ve produced a limited quantity.
And as a small team, weโ€™re able to ship only to the US, Canada, the UK & Europe.

Hereโ€™s how it works:

  • You register for LaunchGoodโ€™s Ramadan Challenge and set your donation to a minimum of $2 a day

  • Youโ€™ll receive confirmation from Minara and weโ€™ll collect your shipping details

  • Once Ramadan and the RC30 challenge begin, weโ€™ll start shipping The Prayer Room

Only a few available!

๐Ÿ’ŒThis is your early invitation

Before we share this publicly, we wanted our community to hear it first.

๐Ÿ“ฉ If Minara has ever resonated with youโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ“ฉ If youโ€™ve longed for a deeper connection to prayerโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ“ฉ If you want your Ramadan giving to feel purposeful and personalโ€ฆ

This is a beautiful place to begin.

Support prayer. Support purpose. Support whatโ€™s being built.ย

Jazak Allah khayr for being here a thousand times!ย ย

Weโ€™ve said it before, but weโ€™ll say it again: Minara wouldnโ€™t be Minara without you.ย

P.S. Weโ€™ll be back next week in sha Allah continuing our sujood chronicles-turned-series.ย

May Allah accept from us all ๐Ÿ’œ.

Love and duโ€™as,

The Minara Team
